Call for Abstract/Video
The Scientific Program Committee of 2017 TIC-PDMD invites all interested individuals to submit abstract/video. The abstract/video submission starts on September 1, 2016.
Please note that all the accepted abstract submissions of 2017 TIC-PDMD will be presented only in poster display.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Abstract Submission
  • Abstracts must be submitted via the 2017 TIC-PDMD Online Submission System. Abstracts sent via fax or e-mail will NOT be accepted.
  • Given that, please log into the 2017 TIC-PDMD website before starting the abstract submission and registration process.
  • Abstract should be submitted only by the presenting author.
  • Authorship on multiple abstracts is permitted.
  • Each presenting author can only submit one abstract.
Abstract Format
  • Maximum abstract length is a text by 300 words.
  • Abstract must be submitted and presented in English only.
  • Abstract should be organized into Background and Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
  • Graphics may NOT be used in the abstract.
Confirmation Letter of Abstract Submission
  • A receipt of abstract submission will be automatically sent to the presenting author via e-mail once the submission is completed successfully.
  • If a Confirmation Letter is not received after the completion of the submission process, it is advised to log in the 2017 TIC-PDMD website to check if the abstract is submitted successfully.
Abstract Revision
For any corrections in a submitted abstract, the presenting author can log back in the Online Submission System and proceed accordingly. This option will be available until abstract submission deadline of December 1, 2016 December 20, 2016.

From January 9, 2017
Scientific Review Panel
  • The abstract will be reviewed anonymously; the text must not reveal any institutional affiliation and author’s information.
  • All abstract submissions must be original work. Previously published or presented abstracts should not be submitted unless they have been updated by different/new research methods or with different results and conclusions.
Notification of Acceptance
The Organizing Committee will notify the presenting author of acceptance/rejection via email from January 9, 2017onwards. At this time, instructions for poster presentations will be provided.
Video Submission Guideline
  • Case that is to be presented at the Video Session should not be presented as an abstract in the Poster Area.
  • Please submit the letter of intent via the 2017 TIC-PDMD Online Submission System.
  • The letter of intent should include a brief summary of the case, a description of what the video will demonstrate and a statement of why the case is interesting for presentation.
  • The Video Session Committee will review all the letters of intent and contact you with the final decision by
    January 9.
  • Submitting Video will be required after reviewing process.

Registration
  • Registration is mandatory for presenters. Please do not submit an abstract if you are not prepared to travel to the Congress.
  • Submitting an abstract DOES NOT register you to the 2017 TIC-PDMD. A presenting author must register and complete the payment before January 15, 2017, or the accepted abstract will not be arranged in the Congress Program and will be excluded from the Book of Abstract.
  • Other authors of the accepted abstract, who would like to participate in the Congress, must register and complete the payment before the day of the Congress.

Others

Main Author and Co-authors
Please put the correct full name and affiliation of the main author, if there are co-authors of the paper, please do the same as well. Congress Secretariat will put that information in the Final Program.

Email Contact
The Congress Secretariat will use the presenting author’s email address for sending confirmations and notifications. Therefore, it is important to provide the correct contact information and always use the same email address.
